Membership is a privilege. Violation of these Guidelines may result in immediate removal without notice.
Membership in The List places you in spaces shared with other individuals of exceptional visibility and influence. Just as you would want for yourself, absolute discretion is required.
- No screenshots, recordings, or captures of other members, profiles, events, or conversations.
- No sharing of member identities externally, including who you’ve met, or what they’ve said or done.
- No external posting of in-app content, insights, conversations, or interactions.
- No discussing private events or gatherings with non-members.
- Any attempt to expose, leak, archive, or surveil other members results in permanent removal.
Privacy is the foundation of this society. Break it once - you leave for good.
Membership in The List carries expectations of character, taste, and absolute discretion.
- Always present your real self, authentically and with respect.
- No harassment, aggression, or disruptive behavior - online or in person.
- No self-promotion or spam.
- No clout-seeking, name-dropping, or leveraging membership to impress non-members.
- No impersonation, false identity, or misleading personal details.
Remember, your presence is a reflection of the society’s standards.
The List curates a distinct cultural cohort. Members:
- Do not invite, nominate, or refer individuals whose values do not align with the society.
- Do not imply you “represent” The List publicly or commercially.
- Do not use membership for commercial, professional, or political gain.
- Do not claim association with The List in press, interviews, bios, or personal branding without explicit approval.
Membership is personal - not a marketing asset.
Whether attending an event officially hosted by The List or meeting other members independently:
- No filming or photographing other members without consent.
- No public posting of private event locations before, during, or after attendance.
- No inviting non-members into member-related environments unless specifically allowed.
Behave as if every room you're invited into is private and high-trust - because it is.
This society values emotional, physical, and interpersonal safety.
- No discrimination or hate speech of any kind.
- No exploitation, manipulation, or boundary-violating behavior.
- No intoxication-related misconduct.
- Respect personal space, consent, and differing identities.
- Report safety concerns immediately through official channels.
We expect members to elevate one another, not diminish one another.
The List operates on trust.
- Provide accurate information during your application.
- Keep your profile updated and truthful.
- No catfishing, misrepresentation, or deceptive behavior.
- Members must maintain an active, genuine presence both online and offline.
The character of the collective depends on the integrity of each individual.
Participation here is a privilege members enjoy, not a right.
- Members must remain in good standing and follow all guidelines.
- Members must remain socially engaged, active, and participant in the community.
- Violations of conduct or inactivity may result in review by the Curation Council.
- The Council may adjust membership status, pause access, or revoke membership at any time.
- Decisions by the Council are final.
Standards rise because the community protects them.
The following actions result in immediate and permanent removal:
- Privacy breaches (including screenshots, recordings, or leaks)
- Harassment, hate speech, or abuse
- Attempts to expose or dox other members
- Commercial exploitation of membership
- Sharing of member content outside the society
- Dangerous or illegal activity
These guidelines may evolve as the society does. Members will be notified of updates.
Continued membership signifies continued agreement with these guidelines.
We uphold a single, simple rule:
If your behavior lowers the quality of The List, you cannot remain one of The List.
